Who We Are

The Parents Leadership Council (PLC) is a group of current Yale College parents committed to strengthening the university through engagement and philanthropic support.

PLC members live around the world and serve as informal Yale ambassadors in their home communities. They often volunteer to host events for Yale parents, alumni, and friends. Parents are invited to join the PLC by the dean of Yale College. Each PLC family supports Yale through generous philanthropic gifts annually.

Chairs’ Greetings

We are thrilled to chair the Parents Leadership Council (PLC) during the 2026-27 academic year. During the past three years, we have had the pleasure of experiencing Yale both through the lens of the PLC and our two children who currently attend Yale College. Due to the variety of speakers, tours, new friendships, and conversations, we appreciate in a fuller and more meaningful way our children’s journey at Yale.

Our commitment to education and to ensuring that all Yale students have access to all that Yale offers has inspired us to give back to the community through the PLC. Though we call Aspen, CO home, we are excited to spend time with all of you in New Haven and elsewhere over these next couple of years.

We look forward to working together to support Yale.

See you soon on campus!
